I bought a Bakflip MX4 for my 2017 Silverado about a year ago from Classic Chevrolet in Grapevine Tx. About 5 months ago we had some ‘light hail’ – no damage to the pickup – but the MX4 took many hits. There were dozens of dimples on the cover!!! A week ago I purchased a new Silverado from Classic. I went back to their parts department to see if they had a higher quality top. When I talked with the parts sales rep and told him what I experienced he concurred this was an issue many customers had also complained about!!
Unfortunately in any reviews on the MX4 this is never mentioned as a problem. Please ask this question of others and I believe it should be included in the ‘Cons’ of your review. Thanks
